Theresa Lent is the President of CardConnect Cincinnati, a locally owned and operated independent agent office based in Cincinnati, serving businesses across the United States. A lifelong professional in the payments industry, Theresa has grown alongside the evolution of electronic payments—giving her a rare, end-to-end understanding of how payment processing impacts real businesses. She helps small and mid-sized businesses accept payments securely and efficiently by combining the power of a national payment processing platform with the accessibility, accountability, and personal service of a trusted local partner.
Theresa’s career in the merchant services industry began early, when she started working in a local payment processing agent office while still in high school. Supporting businesses across the Cincinnati area, she gained firsthand exposure to credit card and electronic payment solutions powered by innovative technology and high approval standards. Beginning with general office work and outreach, Theresa built a strong, ground-up understanding of credit card processing, merchant accounts, and payment systems—experience that continues to inform how she supports businesses today.
While attending the University of Cincinnati, Theresa gained hands-on experience in the payments industry and transitioned into a full-time leadership role after graduation. Over the years, she helped guide the local agent office through major industry changes while maintaining its independence and commitment to personalized service.
